All the laser cutting

Within my work I use the laser cutting a lot, I find that I can use it not only to create final pieces but as part of my creative process. I find myself laser cutting shapes to create collages or repeatedly laser cutting to create new shapes to then draw from. For me laser cutting is not just a technique to use once the design process is completed but is an integral part of my designing.

I have created a short video of some of my most recent laser cutting. From these cut pieces I have gone on to create designs which will soon be cut from slate.
