Venice Biennale
Back in November I was lucky enough to go to the Venice Biennale. Being able to see so much inspiring work in one place was amazing! The work on display covered a range of media and scale showing the best talent of the world. Not only was the work great to see but the buildings they were displayed in were huge with some great architecture.
As well as going to the Biennale we were also able to go and see Damien Hirst's Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable. The epic scale of this body of work, with the display and thinking behind it really showed how art can be more than just a painting in a gallery. The work had a story of its own with Hirst's spin on his mythical pieces you were able to loose yourself in mystical world.
